After a hiatus from our Better to Know series, we are happy to introduce one of our newer team members: Annika. Side note- did you know the colors selected for each person’s series is their favorite color?
What’s your favorite part of this job?
I love walking through the door and feeling needed by the pets. They’re happy I’m there and I’m happy to be there caring for them. Spending time petting dogs and cats is so fun.
When you’re not working, what are some of your favorite things to do?
Hiking and adventuring in the mountains! We get up to the mountains at least once a week. At night, I love binge watching TV to relax. Another favorite would have to be board games.
If you could be any type of domesticated animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a guinea pig! We had a guinea pig growing up, and it was so spoiled. It safely enjoyed grazing in the outdoors. Wonderful to soak up that sunlight.
What is a lesser known fact about you?
I don’t like Harry Potter. I also don’t like Lord of the Rings.
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?
Like many musicians, I find auditions nerve-wracking. One time before an audition, they told us, “We want you to do well.” That can mean a lot depending on how you look at it, but for me it was so helpful.
What is Annika best known for by our team?
Annika is known for her lightning-fast email responses, ever willingness to step up, and positive attitude.
