Better to Know (Our Team)- Becca Addition

Looking to learn more about your team? We’d love if you take a few moments to learn more about Becca!

What is your favorite part of this job?

My favorite part about this job is getting the chance to build such loving and awesome relationships with the pets we care for! Every day that I am working, I get greeted with kisses from the pets and get to walk outside enjoying our beautiful state of Colorado with all the amazing pets we work with.

Also, I work with a great team of people who are always eager to step in and help each other out which makes for a wonderful work environment!

When you aren’t working, what’s your favorite thing to do?

When I am not working, I am most likely spending time with my own sweet rescue pup. We love to go hiking, snuggle pretty much anywhere possible, and of course snack.

I am also currently in the process of getting my Masters of Social Work in Denver which takes up most of my time outside of work!

If you could be any domesticated animal, what would you be and why?

If I could be any sort of domesticated animal, I would like to be a dog; specifically a mutt who lives here in Colorado. Dogs are smart and beautiful creatures who are there to provide you with support, affection, and relentless loyalty. I value those qualities so much and very much believe in the healing powers canines can offer to humans. It would be such an awesome animal to be! Not to mention they spend their lives being told how good and cute they are while being given TLC and given treats, who wouldn’t want that?

What is a lesser known fact about you?

A lesser known fact about me is that I love to draw mandalas! I can spend hours drawing them and it is very relaxing and fun.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?

Look both way before you cross the road!

What are you best known for by the team?

My team has said that I take some great photos of the pets, like I feel about my teammates! Easy to do when we have such wonder-models!
